Apresentamos o sistema Busc@NIMA, que permite a identificação de competências, na área de meio ambiente, existentes em laboratórios e departamentos da PUC-Rio, coordenados por integrantes do quadro de professores-pesquisadores. Inicialmente explicamos a obtenção dos dados, a conversão para o formato RDF usando ontologias de domínio e transformações por meio da linguagem XSLT. Utilizamos um Sistema de Banco de Dados Relacional e dois Sistemas NoSQL, do tipo chave-valor e também baseado em grafos. Os sistemas trazem desempenho ao ambiente operacional e permitem expressar consultas na linguatem SparQL e suporta, de forma nativa, indexação de texto livre. O resultado de qualquer pesquisa no Busc@NIMA retorna a lista de nomes de professores ou pesquisadores, suas produções científicas e atividades de ensino, contemplando apenas informações relativas aos membros da comunidade PUC-Rio que trabalham com o tema de meio ambiente. Apesar do contexto particular da área, a solução aqui apresentada pode ser estendida e customizada para outros temas específicos que não o meio ambiente. Ilustramos o funcionamento do sistema em produção com um estudo de caso de buscas selecionadas.

Abstract

We present the Busc@NIMA system, which allows the identification of competences, in the area of the environment, existing in laboratories and departments of PUC-Rio, coordinated by members of the staff of professors-researchers. Initially, we explain how to obtain the data, convert it to RDF format using domain ontologies and transformations using the XSLT language. We use a Relational Database System and two NoSQL Systems, of the key-value type and also based on graphs. The systems bring performance to the operating environment and allow you to express queries in the SparQL language and natively support free text indexing. The result of any search on Busc@NIMA returns the list of names of professors or researchers, their scientific productions and teaching activities, contemplating only information related to members of the PUC-Rio community who work with the theme of the environment. Despite the particular context of the area, the solution presented here can be extended and customized for specific topics other than the environment. We illustrate how the system works in production with a case study of selected searches.
